Prof. Dr. Zakhar Shybeka holds doctoral degree in history. He is Professor Emeritus of the Tel Aviv University. His research interests cover history of urban studies, national movements and Jewish studies in Eastern Europe. He is author of more than 280 scientific works and articles, published in Belarusian, Czech, English, German, Polish and Russian languages.
